The Heart Behind The Grafted Vine Creative
At The Grafted Vine Creative, our vision is to help families and children discover the unified story of God's love—woven through every page of Scripture. We are creating a multi-volume series that retells moments from both the Old and New Testaments in lyrical verse, always pointing to Jesus as the heart of every story.
We believe, as Jesus taught, that all of Scripture ultimately reveals Him. Our books are crafted to help young readers and their families see how each narrative—whether from Genesis or the Gospels—finds its fulfillment in Christ.
The name "Grafted Vine Creative" is inspired by the Apostle Paul's teaching: that all who trust in Jesus, the Messiah promised in the Old Testament, are "grafted in" to the promises first given to Abraham. We hope that every child who reads these stories will know they are invited into God's family and His unfolding promise.
Through poetic storytelling, painterly art, and companion Story Time resources, we seek to nurture faith, spark meaningful conversations, and help children grow deep roots in understanding of God's plan and love for them.
Meet the Creators
Ryan Moseman
Author
Ryan Moseman is a lifelong creative working across technology consulting, woodworking, furniture design, and children's literature. This picture book series grew from his desire to create stories for future grandchildren—narratives with the lyrical quality, theological depth, and folky warmth he couldn't find in the current market. Passionate about families gathering around God's Word, Ryan crafts resources that bring people together through story, art, and faith. Ryan lives in Plymouth, MN, with his wife, Jen. They have three adult children, including Daphne.

Daphne Moseman

Daphne Moseman is a professional illustrator with a BFA in Art Education from UW-Stout. She's a frequent contributor (writer and illustrator) to Word on The Street Magazine , a faith-based outreach magazine.
